 intro to xfce moddding

by matthekc on: Jun 4 2008

Has anyone made or found a good howto on modifying XFCE? I'm working on a system wide theme and where to change values in rc files to where to store an image so the taskbar will pick it up are not exactly clear. I think a real comprehensive guide might help a lot of people.

 xfce thmem issue

by DesolateOne on: Jul 2 2008

Ok Ive installed a few themes in /usr/share/themes, all seems well. i go to the user interface gui, and select my theme from the list, and everything changes but the bar at the top of my windoows, this happens with all of them, I tried wii-black and a few others. So I tried going to the window manager gui, and there is no option for my themes, just the built in ones, if I select default its not the bar thats supposed to be there, or at least not the one thats displayed in the preview of each theme. I dont know any advice?
