Real Final:
- Icons packaged into tar.gz files for easier installation
- Offical Dapper Wallpaper "Simple Human" now included
- Extra Wallpapers now in a tar.gz file
- Login Screen removed
- Now distributed in tar.gz format
- All the changes I've made shaved 4 mb off the file size of RC1!

Cheers to the VidaLinux Desktop OS crew for including the Ubuntulooks engine in VLOS 1.3 Beta 1, now VLOS users, you can download the package to get the rest of the artwork.
nice!, now that I'm not using ubuntu anymore (i'm in arch now) it's very dificult for me to get those themes. Thanks. Now who does the same with suse 10?
Is this really for XFCE? I'm asking because the screenshots seem to be featuring Gnome...Although we're on an XFCE artwork site.
Okay, Ubuntulooks is a GTK theme, GTK themes are used for skinning GTK applications and enviroments, such as Gnome AND XFCE. Everything in this theme is XFCE friendly, but you just can't use the Metacity theme on XFCE because it uses an entirely different window manager! If you want a simliar appearance though, the Human metacity is not too far off from ClearLooks 2, so try it with that theme. I might try porting the Human Window Border to XFCE's Window Manager one day and include it with this package.
Thanks for packaging this. As for Ubuntulooks itself, I'm not crazy about it. Overall it could be described as "Glossy Butterscotch". Just too orangey. What do others think of it?
I kinda like it, but one change has gotten on my nerves: I remember that Flight 6 of Ubuntu had a slightly different Ubuntulooks color scheme, with an Orange window frame instead of Caramel. I'm going to try and recover it as best I can for your good and release it on Gnome-Look.
Because Ubuntu is so powerful instead Fedora ... I love ubuntu now :p

Why the change to Fedora from Ubuntu, just curious .... ?
I thought I was ready to go back to my roots as a Red Hat user (since my first distro was Red Hat 9). Also, my greediness in packages whacked up the dependencies on APT so I couldn't install anything! Also, it was kinda weak and dumbed down for my tastes...
Hmmm... I find fedora to be more dumbed down than ubuntu - more system tools etc. Also, I've found apt to be far more robust than yum. Maybe its just me, but I find it weird that your experience was so different.

I personally think that Linux is Linux, and you can do virtually the same things on all Linuxes. Also, apt is a more organized system, so if you managed to bugger up your dependancies, you must be good. To me, the only difference from one Linux to another is what tools it comes packaged with. I personally switched from Fedora to Ububtu, because I knew how to do all those command line things on Fedora, but why would I when I can do it easier with a GUI? Basically, for me, it got to the point where I had learned a ton about Linux, and just wanted something that worked well, rather than something that was a challenge. Probably not for everyone, but for me, I prefer the easier route when I have something that needs to be done. It's like automatix vs. doing everything by command line manually.
