El archivo es una modificacion del bootsplash que viene por defecto en SuSE 11.2
------------------- Instalacion -----------------------------------------
Ejecute lo siguiente como super usuario
Desempaquete el archivo
copie la carpeta SuSE-Elegant a /etc/bootspash/themes/
Abra el archivo /etc/sysconfig/bootsplash
En la linea THEME=\"SuSE-Elegant\" cambiela por \"SuSE-Elegant\"
En la terminal escriba mkinitrd
Reinicie

Si tiene problemas con el archivo describa el error junto con la resolucion, para saber la resolucion haga lo siguiente:
En la terminal como superusuario escriba mkinitrd y en la tercera linea de abajo hacia arriba aparece la resolucion usada

Unpack the *tar file
Copy the file SuSE-Elegant to /etc/bootspash/themes/
Open the file bootspash on /etc/sysconfig/
Change the line THEME=\"SuSE-Elegant\" to \"SuSE-Elegant\"
On a terminal write mkinitrd
reboot
