Description: This plasmoid displays a flat list of several rss feeds. Each item shows: - the entry's title and an icon for recognize the RSS feed - the first lines of the entry and one or two thumbnails when the entry contains images - a footer with feed's name, author's name (when available) and a date of publication When you click on an item, it opens the corresponding url in your favorite browser.
It is a pure qml plasmoid. KDE > 4.9.90 is recommended.
known issue: the list is not properly sorted before the first update.Last changelog:

Hi! I used this widget for many years, any chance that you will port it to Plasma 5? I miss it badly there. :,( No other widget I found displays multiple feeds with their title and description text in one widget like Latest News does.
It doesn't happen on KDE 4.9.97. I don't know if the scrollbar widget has been fixed or it doesn't happen because scrollbars in the plasma theme have changed.

This is one of the best looking RSS/news plasmoids I ever used. It is very slick, clean and fast. I wonder if there is a way to add it to the panel? Also it would be more functional if it could fetch data from multiple sources.

I found a bug in the favicon detection, it sometime fail and go in an infinite loop. I am trying to fix it. Thanks for the report.

I must re-install KDE 4.9.4. Does-it crash with the default rss feeds ?
Yes, it crashes with the default rss. It is visible for 1-2 seconds, the plasma crashes and restart.
