With many modern laptops having no caps lock indicator I was at a loss until I found this widget. The KDE panel must be an appropriate height before the widget will display but it works like a charm once it is installed and set - in my case just to show the caps lock status. Thank you for writing this code - much appreciated.
It gives me error in OpenSUSE 12.3 KDE 4.11: "No module named alsaaudio Please, install necessary packet". I do have alsa installed. I wonder what packet should I install?
When adding a plasmoid you can choose if download repository or add it from a file.
If you choose the repository way, you will find this plasmoid by searching the name; if you prefer the file way, you have to download the file in this page, and choose it when asked.
