how do I install this???
I downloaded and in kopete hit new theme then selected the downloaded tar
It said:
The file "/home//Desktop/24193-messenger_7_port.tar.gz" is not a valid emoticon theme archive
It also didnt work when I manually unpacked and then selected the folder "default" which it unpacked to
so what do I do?

It says it is for amsn, not Kopete.
Extract all files too /home/...../ Then login as root , then kopy the smiles dir. too /opt/kde3/share/emoticons Voila
works just fine with Kopete
