Description:I created this set because there are no iconsets for KDE to my liking. I hope everyone enjoys this set and I give all credit to Sergio Ruiz, Mike Moschini, and Everaldo who made most of these icons.
The build script depends on 'convert', which is part of ImageMagick.
To install this set:
1. download the zip file
2. extraxt the zip file
3. cd into the NiCo_Crystal folder
4. open a terminal there
5. run ./buildset
6. get a beer
7. Install the icon theme in KDE Control Panel
8. Enjoy
Updated:04-18-2007
Added new K3B icon, GimpCan icons, Gamepad icon, Word Processor icon, many new Folder icons per request and improved and cleaned up some more... Made Mo Betta :-)

Kudos a good icon theme for kde Thanks dude :-) hey can you please tell me the kde style and window border you r using i really love the way you have presented & like to have my desktop as same so please forward me the theme links
Hi, Thanks for this great iconset. BTW, what's the bar that you are using? It seems like the MAC OS X bar, the new one in leopard. Could you please share this info? I'd like to use that bar myself.
It's KXDocker...here's my current theme. http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php/Leopard+for+KXDocker?content=64097
When I try to run the buildscript I get this errot message from convert: "convert: Unable to open file (*) [No such file or directory]." I run Kubuntu 7.04 Feisty and all the requirements are met...
The build script depends on 'convert', which is part of ImageMagick. Please make sure that you have ImageMagick.
I have that package installed and the error message is created by convert. That means that convert can't open the files for conversion. Probably the script is pointing to a wrong location. I checked the code on the script but since my skills are limited, I couldn't find the problem. Any solutions?
Just out of curiosity try making a new folder, name it whatever you like, copy the 128x128 folder, the buildsst, and the index.desktop into this new folder. Check to make sure that all of the PNGs are there. Open a terminal in this folder and run ./buildset.
it didn't work. Everything works fine it creates the theme archive for KDE, but convert gives me the error message: "convert: Unable to open file (*) [No such file or directory]." and there are now files in the directories created in the tar.bz archive. also the folders that are in 128 are all empty. Is that normal?
No that's not normal. I used the same buildscript as the Milk icon theme here at KDE Look. Can you install the icon theme? Try downloading the Milk icon theme and see if it builds. My only other suggestion would be to ask on the Kubuntu forums because I'm no code guru either...my apologies.

i wonder why you didn't made nice opera icon...
Very nice icon set! My only request is a few more custom folder icons; I've got my home directory sorted pretty well and wouldn't mind a few more specific icons for different folders, like separate Images and Photos folders, an "Internet" folder for my website stuff (maybe just the globe on it), Shared folder, maybe a few more colours. The more folders, the better. :) Also, maybe if the Wine executable icon looked more like a program than a document mimetype? (BTW, the Wine icon is gorgeous!) And looking through the buildset script, there seems to be options commented out to customize the K-menu button, but I lack the expertise to get it to work... could you explain that? I don't really like the default ruler and brushes one that's set. I was going to play around with the PNGs myself, but since it's your project I assumed you might have more fun doing so? Anyways, beautiful stuff!
That's how the original script was written. I didn't want to overpopulate the set...but all you have to do is find a 128x128 kmenu.png on the web and replace the one in the apps folder before you build the set. Do a google search...should'nt be too hard to find.
Is this icon set Freedesktop -> GNOME compatible?
I kinda doubt it...I made it for KDE. Sorry
One tiny criticism, otherwise, this is THE KDE icon set, as far as I am concerned. The "inbox" icon, the paper-airplane...it is so much white, on what is likely to be a white background. In my case it is. The icon is so small, you can't see it at all. Perhaps an alternative...or a shadow? Otherwise, it is fantastic!
I see what you mean...working on it and some other improvements.
Try the mirror download for this icon theme and Aqua_Project, I tried two different attempts...in NiCo_Project I replced the paper plane outbox with something like the folder_inbox but with the arrow pointing up. IN Aqua_Project I simply gave the paper plane a little more shadow and a slight yellowish tint. Please tell me which you prefer...and make any other useful suggestions. thanks, HaMMeR=GoM=

Sorry, I meant outbox. :-)
