Description:
This is a Beryl theme that's heavily borrowed from webslave98's awesome theme featured here http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=47731. I just changed the coloring and shadowing around to make it look more like mac. Please get back to me with feedback!!

Enjoy!!

Also, if you are voting bad, please let me know what you don't like about it so I can maybe fix it. Thanks!!

I posted earlier about switching the buttons to the left, and that worked well. However, one thing I've noticed is that the windows cannot be resized on the bottom corners. I wish that were different.

I have seen those widgets that seem to be superkarambas. However if you are using beryl I wonder how you did it to get the transparency. Could you tell what application are you using for that desktop calendar?

rowancompsciguy

The application I'm using for my calendar is a superkaramba widget called Truva Calendar. The transparency works because the background image for the widget is transparent. Hope that answers your question.

Thank you, I am going to check since I tried a theme before and it was not transparent for me. I will see if I get a transparent bacground imagen. However I am experiencing some problems with my config in Beryl. Anyway thank you and nice job. Best regards and Merry Christmas people.

I'd love to have this theme if the buttons were on the left. I don't know how to do this... any chance you could do it and repost it? :P

You can change the position of the buttons yourself in emerald. Theme properties.. It's in one of the tabs, can't remember exactly what it was called, since not at my own computer atm. Hope it helped.

Open up the Emerald Theme Manager, select this theme, click on the edit theme tab and then the title bar tab and enter this string "(5)M:IT:N(5)X(5)C(5):OSX Layout" in the Title-Bar Object Layout field, it should do what you want. I tried to post another copy of the theme with the buttons on the right but I couldn't figure out how to post a second content file. Does anyone know how to do that?
