Open the Emerald Theme Manager (System > Preferences > Emerald Theme Manager) then switch to the "Emerald Settings" tab at the top of the window. Uncheck "Use Button Fade Pulse."
I do believe that is what you are refering to.
The buttons are HUMONGOUS! Large frames normally don't bother me, but this is a little too much. Please forgive me for being blunt, but the buttons give the theme a feel as if it were made for children.
Other then that, it's very nice. But I'd definitely make the buttons smaller, atleast a little bit, because they stand out like a sore thumb by being so large.

one small issue that i have is that when you minimize and maximize with the button it doesn't redraw the buttons very fast.

make buttons transparent (taking on the colour of the rest of the titlebar) so that i can change the colour of the whole theme and the buttons will change accordingly
i know this will be irrelewant to pplm wanting ubuntustudio colours and this is an ubuntustudio theme tho but for me who likes this theme a lot, but not the colours it would be great ;)

Where in the ini files do you set the flash interval? I would like to set it not to flash. or maybe flash slower.

I love this theme! Too bad beryl won't work on my laptop :) Good job & keep up the good work!
don't worry I am working on the gtk2 version for those whom does not use beryl. Soon to be done.
