SlimCity
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
This is my first metacity theme. It was designed with two main purposes: (i) to blend with Zukitwo-Dark (see http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Zukitwo?content=140562); and (ii), to maximize screen real estate. Basically, the title bar of this metacity theme gets thinner when the window is maximized (and the title text is removed). There are some prerequisites for this theme to look acceptable: (i) the gtk should be dark also; (ii) the 3 buttons layout should be enabled (e.g. for Gnome 3 users); and (iii) the order of the buttons should be minimize - maximize / restore - close.
Hope you enjoy it.
To install:
- 1st unzip the contents of the .zip file to the /usr/share/themes/ folder (you will need super user priviledges for this);
- 2nd use the Gnome Tweak Tool (Gnome3) to select the Windows - Current Theme (choose SlimCity); or use the Appearance Settings of Gnome2 to choose the window borders. Last changelog:

0.2 - Changed the maximized window buttons, so as to be more consistent with the non-maximized ones. The buttons of the out of focus maximized window are now shaded also.
