Description:
This theme represents my effort to make the main idea behind the previous SlimCity compatible with a larger number of gtk themes and buttons layouts. To achieve that, I ditched the idea of making "drop down" like buttons, opting for simpler (rounder) ones, and used some of the gtk colour variables to decorate the window background. As in SlimCity, the titlebar of maximized windows gets thinner and the text disapears, to maximize screen real estate.

I have tested this theme in Gnome 3 only, with the Zukitwo, Adwaita and Adwaita Dark themes, but it will hopelly blend with other themes (gtk2 or gtk3) as well.

Feel free to change or improve the theme at your will. Constructive feedback is also welcomed.

To install:
1st Download and unzip the contents of the .zip file to the /usr/share/themes/ folder (you will need super user priviledges for this);
2nd use the Gnome Tweak Tool (Gnome3) to select the Windows - Current Theme (choose RubberDubber); or use the Appearance Settings of Gnome2 to choose the window borders.

Usuing the terminal to place the theme in /usr/share/themes/
Assuming you have wget and unzip on your system, you may also try the following commands to install the theme:
wget http://www.deviantart.com/download/252340118/slimcity3000_by_kant_o-d468ivq.zip
unzip slimcity3000_by_kant_o-d468ivq.zip
sudo cp -r SlimCity3000/ /usr/share/themes/
rm -r SlimCity3000/
For gnome3, do the following additional steps:
1st. open gnome-tweak-tool
(select SlimCity3000 in the Windows tab - Current Theme option)
Press Alt+F2, write r, and hit enter.

For gnome2, go to the appearance settings and change the window borders of the current theme. No need to restart anything.

In Debian-based systems you can install themes just by putting them in a .themes folder in your home folder. If they're in a folder or certain archives you can also just drag them into the themes tab of the appearances window. Nice theme by the way, I like that you're trying to increase working space; though round, ambiguous buttons and dark borders aren't my style.

You're right, and I actually used the drag and drop feature a while ago, though rapidly forgot about it. :). I'm glad you like it. Just one minor detail. Notice that if you use a light gtk theme, the borders will be light too (at least it was designed to behave like that). Check the download link to see how it looks with, for example, Zukitwo. As for the ambiguous buttons, I will take into consideration in, perhaps, SlimCity4000:P
