Usplash is a software project in the Ubuntu community. Historically, scrolling text "verbose mode" has typically appeared on Linux computers during boot. Usplash replaces the scrolling-text screens with a graphical splash screen. Wikipedia

What file is that string in?
did you compile the source, by opening a terminal cd to the source directory run "make" then run "make install" Without the quotes if that dosnt work run "make" and then install StartUp-Manager open StartUp-Manager then in the appearance tab click manage usplash themes(or something simmular) and then add usplash-theme-fluxbuntu.so from the source directory sorry if im not detailed enough right now im running windows 7(for gaming only)
Might want to add that you need pngtousplash in order for it to work!
The idea is good but I don't like the colors!
Didn't really work for me, But I love the idea and I you get it working :D
