Description: Just a simple gimp splash screen I cobbled together; I hated the default one and I couldn't find one anywhere on the net that I liked. My tastes are always in or around dark minimalism, and with that in mind this is what I hope I have achieved.
To install, open a window with r00t privileges(Alt F2 ->gksudo nautilus) then navigate to : usr/share/gimp/2.0/images And replace (remember to back up!!) default gimp-splash.

Something I picked up of Deviantart, just have a mooch around...there are plenty of awesome backgrounds on there!
