Description: Here is a Usplash screen i did for Intrepid Ibex (don't try to install it on other versions, it won't work!). Based on Ubuntu original Usplash, but i slightly changed it to fit with Intrepid design (see screenshot...). Hope you'll like it!
This is for 16:10 screen resolutions.
Install: Just install .deb package!

installing this has resulted in having no splash screen whilst waiting for ubuntu to be loaded whatsoever...so how do I get rid of it?? :)

Usplash is a software project in the Ubuntu community. Historically, scrolling text "verbose mode" has typically appeared on Linux computers during boot. Usplash replaces the scrolling-text screens with a graphical splash screen. Wikipedia

Hi, did you really install it on Intrepid? It does not work on other versions (as i allready said on my comments)
PS: if you wish to uninstall it, just install "boot-up-manager"
