I really like this usplash, but I have tried every single resolution option in startup-manager. All with the same results, the image is to off center to the left side of the screen. I first tried my screen resolution of 1280 x 1024...nothing is working!
Any advice how to fix the resolution??
Please download the usplash source and edit the file "SimpleLinev3.c". Look for the line:
/* Progress bar position and size in pixels */
.progressbar_x = xxx, -->your favorit possition bar X
.progressbar_y = xxx,-->your favorit possition bar Y
.progressbar_width = 216,
.progressbar_height = 8,
Save the file. Then open the terminal and type "make". You should get a new file "SimpleLinev3.so".
I get an error when doing make:
rocker@rock-city:~/Projects/USplash/Simple Line/SimpleLinev3 source$ make
make: Se elimina la dependencia circular throbber_back.png <- throbber_back.png.c.
pngtousplash throbber_back.png > throbber_back.png.c
/bin/sh: pngtousplash: not found
make: *** [throbber_back.png.c] Error 127
rm throbber_back.png.c
This the first screen Ive been able to get to work on intrepid , You should really think about doing more!!!!! Simple and clean just the way I like it!!

I used "Usplash Maker 1.04" to compile my work to a .so...
So did you get it to work on intrepid with usplash maker??
I can't get this to install correctly. I've tried using the recommend settings on startup manager... no luck :(
so i google about usplash maker, and I can't find anything...any help how to get this to work in intrepid. Please any help i'll appreciate it! I really like the look and simplicity of it...also matches my theme ;)
Never mind!! I got it to work!
After a lot of trial and error, I noticed something different about this file name from the other usplash.so files...They didn't have any spaces between the words on the title.
So I took out the long numbers and put this "_" between the words on the title so it looks like this "Simpleline_for_Intrepid.so" Then it worked fine under startup manager!
ps. By the way great job. I really go for the simple style! Thanks!! Anybody knows where I can get a good tutorial how to make this...you really inspired me to want to give it a try.

Please install package libusplash0. If doesn't work install libuspalsh-dev and try again.
