The images you have modified to create this desktop picture was NOT released under the GPL.
Many people have modified it and re-released it, but many have cited the original creator.
Please add this citation, and change the license under which you have released it. I have no issues with you distributing this image, I think it's a cool idea and modification of the original artwork.

The original artwork (no logos, labels, text of any kind) was done by Jon Bohren (jon@root256.com)

okay fair enouth, aucaly ai was not sure whar licens to publish it under. I picked GPL because that was what my source (http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=42921&vote=good&tan=71024160 and http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=38084) said. Who do you say created the original pix? Ofcause he/she deserves the credit.
