Could you make this into a wallpaper? I really enjoy the theme, but I'd like it as wallpaper.

If you untar the tarball and go into the resulting uncompressed directory, you'll see a file 'background.png'. You can use this as your wallpaper - I do! It's 1280x800 and I know not everyone's screen is this resolution so I also included the original .xcf file ('background.xcf') in the tarball so you can use The GIMP to set it to whatever resolution you like, change the colours, alter the shading, etc.! If you don't know how to use The GIMP, let me know your screen resolution and I'll post a separate background for you. Thanks for the comment.
