Do you know where the actual SVG files can be found at?
This set of icons doesn't display actions in Clementine and crashes Gnome PulseAudio applet in Gnome 2.30.2. It looks like both programs try to look for icons but they don't match the proper icons. I checked other icons themes and they work ok, for example Oxygen or Gnome-wise. It looks like the structure of the folders in icons' folder is different in those icons themes. Could you provide some update or tell me how can I fix it myself.
Just a suggestion: to me it seems kind of awkward to see kde logos on a gnome desktop. Perhaps you could replace them with distro/gnome logos to reflect the nature of the desktop being used. Great theme overall. You can check out my attempt to kde-gnome theme if you serach for "nuvola" on this site.
Kde logo of that version is so great that's why I loved that KDE version (3.5) but I will change the (about logo and all other where KDE is appearing) or an script to change them thanks for your suggestion
hi Dear, I found the new version fo your Crystal SVG-Icons here today. You don't know, how often I tried to get these icons successfully running in Ubuntu! Also in all the Distros up from 8.04 to 9.10 now. But always, the icons were not working until up to today to your new version. Now with this new version, i can confirm: it works!! Jiiipppeee... that grew highest time to get it working!! Thank you for this. Great work and you learned a big lesson. Greetings Karmicbastler
hey thank you very much for your comment, I'm so glad this icon theme worked for you on Ubuntu, that was the purpose, I like this icon theme so much as well and as soon as I get finished my other projects I'll take this one to get it updated :)
There is a bug in a theme: all symlinks point not relatively, but absolutely (stock_mail-compose.png -> /home/juandejesuss/.icons/Crystal SVG/32x32/actions/mail_new.png)
really? wow I didn't realize about that, maybe all the icons have the same problem, I just did a right clic on the icons, created the links and changed the name of the shorcut, tell me how do I fix this :) thanx in advance
try creating the symlinks using the 'ln' command: ln -s source dest where source and dest are file names. e.g. cd ~/.icons/Crystal\ SVG/32x32/actions (the backslash before the space is required here) ln -s bookmark_add.png bookmark_new.png This way, you are creating the CORRECT symlinks, not the ones that will only work on your own computer.
OMG such a good lesson I'm gonna put it on practice and then I have to replace all my icons, god... this gonna take time
Thank you very much! Now these icons will be working with no issues not only on your own computer :)
thanks to you I could learn to make an icon theme correctly, this work is for all of you and thanks to you :) enjoy!

To use the wise words of Linus Torvalds: "just use KDE!"
Some people like the look of KDE without wanting the big bloated mess that is "everything that comes with it."
