All the work I am doing on it right now is just trying to push it to perfection, making small changes release after release [you can see what's happening in the changelog below], so please feel free to report any bug you experience, but first of all ensure you've read the instructions file

Now.. the description can begin...
At first I collaborated with crhispy, releasing different coloured versions of his worderful port "Oxygen-Refit".
Now I decided to create a fork of his porting, integrating some icons I caught around the web, and some others I edited/created by myself.
Please feel free to report and bug within the comments.
A great big thank for you all.
UPDATE
Archlinux users can install this iconset from the AUR repository, just typing:
yaourt -S hydroxygen-iconset
Hydroxygen are also have been included within the GNU/Linux Paldo official repos.
Many thanks to kim88.

this iconset doesn't work properly on my Ubuntu 12.04, there is some icons missing, and comparing with another theme icons, I noticed it was missing some links to some applications and folders So I made a huge update, and i give you the link directly enjoy! https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bxswjdu850FdWlg5NVdxSWlFVzQ/edit?usp=sharing
It's 48x48 in size. http://i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk59/Alexthesimba/RootDolphin.png
I've checked a lot of icon sets even after I've installed hydroxygen and couldn't find anything better.
imho it's the best one available.
Using this with Skylight, a great set of icons, find it hard to change from this theme set.
Really cute! Everithing works fine, I'm just not able to change the firefox icon. Any ideas?
I found it! I changed all instances of firefox-3.0.png in the change-type.sh script to firefox-3.5 and now it works! By the way, I have firefox3.5.7 installed. Quite time intensive search. Hope my girlfriend still wants me...
Super completo e fácil de customizar, muito obrigado, meu Debian ficou show! Super complete and easy to customize, thank you, my Debian this show!
Ehy guys, this iconset is no longer developed by deviantdark, however I've made an arrangment correcting some issues. Here you can download my version: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1113702/Hydroxygen%20LP/Icons/hydroxygen.tar.gz
how can we switch between two different icon themes? Right now I have only one icon theme(ACYL) which was activated as soon as placin it in .icons directory. If I place another theme in the directory which theme would get activated? How does this work?
Yes, you want to extract the folder with your icons in the .icons folder. Then, in your Ubuntu menu, go to System>Preferences>Appearance , and click "customize" (a button on the bottom-ish). Click on the "icons" tabs and click on your new icons.
thankyou ...it worked perfectly as you'd mentioned...help appreciated! Merci
My absolute favorite icon theme of all time. Does anyone know why my small icons blur though? I'm sure it has something to do with the theme referencing to the wrong size png, but it ruins the whole theme :(
Here's a pic of it happening: http://i34.tinypic.com/23kq4bo.png Can anyone help me fix it?
...to perfection. I will never need another icon set, period. Thank you!
One of the prettiest icons set I've ever seen. Congratulations. Keep up the excellent job!
If someone wants the light version of hydroxygen (42 MB instead of 72) just remove the original hydroxygen and install this one: http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1113702/hydroxygen/hydroxygen.tar.gz it requires zenity for the diplaying of the download progress bar. The modified script inside allow you to have just the folder type you want, allowing you at the same time to download the new desired one. [Usage] sh change-type name_of_the_stuff (it's the same as before) enjoy
congratulations ...here and there (deviantart)....thanks too !!! ~deviantdark ~carteirodopoente
The best icon set I've downloaded so far, thanks!
Beautiful theme. Love the customizations. My only problem is the size of the package. It's huge. Perhaps some work on reducing the size? One possible fix, among others perhaps, would be a cleanup script. After settling on a set of options using the customization script, perhaps unused options could be removed. E.g., if user choosing navibrown and ubuntu and folder-dust, cleanup would remove all other folder types, logout types, etc. This could be a separate scrupt called cleanup or something.
So you won't be able anymore to change the features selected =D An easy way to have a smaller size and no unwanted icons is to split the online pack into parts so, when you choose "red folders" you download and install ONLY red folders ;)
Read my following comment I'll explain how to do that ;)
