Faience
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
This theme is in early development stage. As lots of icons are missing, thus it heavily depends on Faenza. Be sure to install it.
Installation:
Extract the zip file and put the 'Faience', 'Faience-Azur' and 'Faience-Ocre' folders inside your ~/.icons directory. Use gnome-tweak-tool extension to select Faience theme.
Launchpad PPA
Faience GTK, Gnome-shell and icon themes are available to install via a PPA repository. Open a terminal and run :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tiheum/equinox
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install faience-theme faience-icon-theme

hi tiheum, fresh request: please could you make this equinox-ubuntu-theme available for future Ubuntu-Versions from Ubuntu 14.04 and 14.10 onwards?? And could you also make it for LinuxMint 16, Linux Mint 17 and onwards?? And I want to let you know: I never stopped loving your artwork. So please please upgrade!! Thick Greetings and thanks in advance, from your friend Karmicbastler
Please add icons for ubuntu tweak and AppGrid. Thanks.
great job! thanks for sharing this beautifull icon theme! the problem is: when use this icon theme in gnome3.6,it will disable nautilus's trash icon change from empty to full(it still show the empty icon even when I delete something to trash).I tried faenza and it didn't have this problem.
Still think this is the best icon theme ever, and have used it almost non-stop since you released it. Any chance of a Faience Iceweasel icon - I'm still using the Faenza one :-) - as well as Iceape and Icedove?
hi tiheum, I have a firther request for you: is ist posible to upgrade the euqinox-ubuntu-theme (the gtk- and Metacity-theme) to Gnome3 please?? I loved this theme so much and now, it is not available in GNome3. Please make it available again for Gnome3!! Please,please,please....This theme looks so awesome... I always loved it and I would like to use it again in future distros with Gnome3!!! Greetings your friend Karmicbastler
hi tiheum, I also love your nice Faenza-Icons and these too...I am looking forward to this new ppa-repository...But one request: could you also add a white version of these nice folders?? This would be nice from you... And could you also add these icons: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=135238 This would make your nice ppa-repository more complete. But as I alsready mentioned before: a white version would be nice... Would it be possible for you to consider my request?? Thanks from Karmicbastler
Super Theme! But... Could you make an icon for this program? :) http://code.google.com/p/eiskaltdc/ Thanks
Fantastic work. Would you consider following the Icon Naming Specification (which both Gnome and KDE are signed up to)? http://developer.gnome.org/icon-naming-spec/ It's my understanding that the reason Faenza isn't in Debian is because a few standard icons are missing (audio-input-microphone for example, and is an important one to me as Empathy uses it!), and your directory structure is incorrect: /devices/48/audio-input-microphone instead of the standard 48x48/devices/audio-input-microphone. (I sent you an email about this, but assume you didn't get it.) Be great to get your work in distributions as opposed to being downloaded manually from gnome-look. Just saying. Such brilliant work.
is very good... (Y)
i love your work!!! the ppa version is lucid only (faience 0.3 and faenza 1.2), why not oneiric too?
Launchpad is long at building packages these days and mines have a low priority (and sometimes, I sleep ;). I launched the builds on Maverick, Natty and Oneiric this morning so be patient...
You're the greatest!
I absolutely love this icon theme. Good work, thumbs up!
Hey, do you plan to do a dark version any time soon?
UP UP UP !!!
