Installed the theme just now and I really like it. I have a problem, though. The GTK+ Theme just won't show up in the Gnome Tweak Tool. The gnome theme is there, but the GTK+ Theme isn't. Anybody knows how to get it in there?
I have install successfull your awesome theme, i have theme ubuntu software center but i dont understand how change titles bars from glass to metallic, i have read instructions but dont work or i wrong something. thank in advance
I'm glad you have an opinion. A little over 3000 people disagree with you. I do agree that it is heavy, you need a computer built within the last couple of years to not notice it, it will weigh down an old computer. The png images are used because that is the entire point of this theme. On the plus side this theme remains an original. I have many other themes on this site that go from normal type appearance(adwaita, ambiance) to flat and minimal(see the Candra Themes). This is really all about having fun and sharing it with others. You ought to try and be less negative. You can catch more flys with honey.
All my best. -Josh aka killhellokitty
Beautiful themes. Most of them works but the lines defining the boxes around the "Places" in the left panel list are clearly visibles destroying the themes. I don't know if it is only me.
Mint cinnamon 17.2 - Peppermint 6
Thanks
This is built for Cinnamon 2.6.13 using Gtk-3.18.
It will make a difference if you aren't using the devel version of cinnamon and gtk-3.18. If you are using this version then please send me a link to a picture of the issue and I will do my best to fix it.
Cheers!
Ok I am really no expert. It is stock Mint Cinnamon. It is 2.6.13 but I dont know for Gtk.
Here is a picture of the problem. It happen with your themes. Let me know if I can help you. You are doing beautiful work. Keep going !

Thank you for posting the pic, that helps a lot. You are using Gtk-3.16 and that is the problem. You could update to Gtk-3.18(the current version of gnome) with the gnome3 PPA like Ubuntu, and that should fix the problem. It you are a newb, and are more comfortable with staying with what you have got, let me know and I will get a copy of the older gtk-3.16 for Nemo and make you a patch. Yes, I'm that cool my French friend ;-)
Please let me know what is best for you and I will help.
Cheers- Josh
Ok one eye Kitten.
I would really like not to mess around with my stock distro. If you can post a 3.16 version, that will be great. Not only for me but for the community. I understand that you have to design with the most recent version but don't take it the wrong way, Mint is the most popular distro in the world (distrowatch) and your themes don't work "properly" on it right now. That cut out a lot of people. That said, Mint is about to be updated to 17.3 and I don't know what gtk version that will come with, so may be you can wait for that ?
Thanks !!
Okay, I have spent some time with LinuxMint and have discovered it is using a VERY old version of Gtk, namely Gtk-3.10. Very Old! Years old. I have know idea as to why they would choose this. If you install Cinnamon on Ubuntu, Fedora, ArchLinux all of them use newer Gtk-3.16 or Gtk-3.18. This has actually blown my mind, this is beyond strange. Anyway, if you want to use the DeLorean-Dark-3.18 theme you will have to use one of the afore mentioned distros with Cinnamon. If you choose to stay with LinuxMint then I have an older version of DeLorean that works just fine on it, here is the link: http://fav.me/d6raty7
I would suggest keeping the DeLorean-Dark-3.18 theme and use its window borders the ones from 3.10 suck.
This is the best I can do for you at this time. I am sorry I wans't able to do more.
-Josh
you were very kind my friend. I learn a lot now. I will raise the issue in Mint forum. As much as I like your theme I probably will not change my distro just for that. So keep making them. You are very good at it. Looking forward for the next ones. Tx
Cheers !

9 One of the most beautiful themes (3.16 at least). Best fit for Asus N550 laptops ;-)

Love this theme, could we get an update for gtk 3.20? gnome went and broke all the old themes again :/

Super heavy and ugly appearance, the era of the bitmap

This is an awesome dark WM theme. I have been using it for years. The fact that it has a OpenBox theme makes it one of the best.
Thanks, it feels great to hear that the theme works so well for you! I love Openbox, so I always try to add its theme. ;-) Cheers
I can tell you've been working hard. It's sad that every minor new GTK3 release breaks everything.
Thanks. 3.16 to 3.18 wasn't so bad they just got more specific on widget naming and added better support for touch. I can work with the changes. ;-)

By the way, the 3.18 version of Nemo will have the same path-bar style as Nautilus shown in the pic.
