this theme looks busy at first but its easier on the eye than many if you work in low light. I liked the steampunk styling in firefox and was chuffed to bits to find it as a theme package, an icon set would be brilliant!
I actually thought the theme was too busy in a web browser format, because you see more of it all the time. But it is best applied to a desktop theme as here.
I can't imagine anyone working on a desktop using one of your themes for more than five minutes!! Yikes! Too busy; too bright. I'm not voting you down though, just giving my opinion.
This is port from firefox. i just ported it. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=glowy&cat=2%2C0

Nice to see something that's not the usual grey and engine based....
Another theme you could potentially do, not far in creative concept from this one, is a "glassy XP", with the luna blue, silver, and olive green color options. Lots of people have done vista and OSX imitations. A few have done some good XP renditions, but no one's done a glassy one of it.
Whoa! You made the glowyblue version in an instant? You're fast! I like your take on this, it's stays true to the original glowytheme series. Can you also do glowygold? That we complete the series I think, and I'm a bigger fan of the gold theme.
yes i can ))
Great job and thanks for blue - perfect fit with the Firefox theme, or any other matching combo. I'm sure your ratings will go up once more people actually try this! Another Firefox emulation idea for you: Gradient icool.
Thanks - it works! Maybe you can make the blue version someday? Rated it thumbs up.
ok! i made blue version)))
Fails to me too (Not a valid theme). I tried to manually copy it to ./themes, but still it is not recognized.
what do you mean not valid theme? you cant see glowygreen in theme list? my friend set glowy himself and it works fine.

The problem with the theme is how it was archived. You used .tar, which doesn't install properly. Once extracted and manually installed on .themes folder, it works fine. I tried re-compressing the theme using .tar.gz and now it installs properly. Try archiving in .tar.gz format and reupload it. I tested it and it worked.
done. now you can download a tar.gz version.
Yes indeed - quite certain it fails to install. Sadly, because I think the theme idea is pretty cool.
The good news is that you've made a long-awaited theme that I've liked from Firefox. The bad news is that it completely fails to install whatsoever.
do you have problems with installation? my theme works fine for me.
