Once I had set the viewpoint of the camera right I rendered and came up with the shapes I wanted, but the colors sucked. So I kept on fiddling around with the channel features of my IMP, added some effects and placed a KDE on the upper right edge. Yes now I've got a KDE-related background too, hey

Tell me if the KDE or the cmue81..blahblah tag bugs you - i can send / put up an image without the annoyance. This is just for an 'in-case' :-P
It's supposed to help people burn out there eyes *L* (greetings go to Spiral Man) ;o]

I'm not a fan of cloud-cumputing at all. It smell fishy, and it's microsoft-google kind of big-corp idea just to use our machine for their idea of prison-web. I don't know much about how a web-site should be dressed-up either. Being called openDesktop, what if this could be kind of an "openDirectory"... Even though I've been around linux for 3yrs with/trying almost any commun distro, including some rough/dirty hands install like debian, slackware and arch, I'm a noobe. But while on that trail I've read a small bit about freeBSD, and this is where I'm getting at, for this idea of a site, where users could archive their apps and also install apps directly from this kind of site-directory. It's just an idea. But from there, maybe it would be a way, in the long run, to standardize linux a bit more (instead of having 5656± disros not all so compatible with one another;) and being trully open. Peace;)

i have them here, they are literally in my hands, i tried three times uploading the 1024, 1280, 1600 versions again, now - after already having tried three times last night - yes, indeed i'm somewhat pissed of - also don't see any sense in mailing to info@kde-look.org since they didn't reply to my last mail yet :( sorry, but for now, people with higher resolutions will just have to wait :( only thing i haven't tried is another browser yet (but why should i, since the other uploads worked perfectly) any of you who experienced those problems before? problem: i would type in all the required fields & upload slots, click upload, then it's uploading - after taking huge amounts of my precious online time (hey, i'm still on 56k) it quits on me, saying i have not filled in all required fields help!!! ps: already tried after finding out about the less than bug - still doesn't work
hey, people of kde-look.org, just discovered a bug in your php code: if you type in a 'less than' somewhere in the description it cuts away the rest of the text without telling you - did not try escaping it with backslashes yet CU chris
(this didn't fit in the description field anymore) Tell me if the KDE or the
it was caused by a bug explained in the next comment :)
very, very nice IMO. but .... would it be possible to make some larger versions of this for those of use with resolutions larger than 800x600?
nice job, but I too need bigger ones.
sorry guys, didn't get to upload the bigger ones last night, the upload area of kde-look seemed to be somewhat bitchy, meaning I tried to upload the darn thing in 1024, 1280 & 1600, but all the time it would quit on me saying I did not provide all the information needed (I could really sing that by now ;) - so I went on and filled in all the fields and upload slots - needless to say, it quit on me again, so I'll retry it this evening, don't have the time now - it should be up around 8 pm. - so don't give up on me regards deepweep
