This wallpaper is the combination of several other projects I've been working on on GIMP. As I am in the US Navy, I thought it would be pretty cool to create an Ubuntu wallpaper with a Navy theme. I'm also working on an Army and Marine Corps (and maybe an Air Force) version.
I became interested in painting airsoft/paintball gear digital camo several weeks ago and resorted to figuring out how to create digital camo pattern myself as there were no good quality templates available to use. Eventually I will get around to posting my work on Deviant Art or something.
