Well, someone have done a nice work and put the ubuntu logo into "my" artwork and upload it to dA ...that's okay for me! ...I have put the Licens to GPL, but i don't know much about the Licens jungle! ...so feel free to use the artwork that i have created in Inkscape!
It just means that if someone asks for the source files of your graphics, then you have to share the SVG(or whatever format). If you don't want people to ask for your source files then don't use GPL, using something like the BSD licence instead. Personal, I have no problem with proving the source files of my artwork.
okey, then i understand! Well the only reason that i don't upload the source file to this artwork is becuase i only can upload 750 KB, so when i have .zip the 6 versions of .jpg it became at 703 KB, and the 3 versions (16:9, 16:10 and 4:3) of .svg (source-file) are totaly at 950 KB. So that is a problem when i use gnome-look to upload to. And the 6 .jpg file at 703 KB is compress alot, and if i compress it harder the quality of the image will be ugly. I'm not against to share the source file, and if someone ask for it! ...i find a way to send it to them! :-) ...well i'm new at Gnome-Look and still learning how it works! :-) ...I hope you like the artwork that i have created!
Yeah, I just found it sucky of that person not to link back to the original and give some credit, or at least respect. lol I mean, who takes someone elses work, changes it, and then takes all credit for themselves? lol anyway, nice work. :D
