I've made four versions- with and without the ubuntu logo/sunrise background, with and without text. The no background versions actually have transparent backgrounds, so you can choose your own color/s. Black obviously not recommended
The preview .png's are smaller than the actual svg's (SVG's are 1280x800)

Simple and good for eyes! I use the no background version. I correct the nodes on the edges for using with compiz desktop effects. And I made an other gradient. If you want, I can send you my version.
