This time I went with cartoon shading to keep it very simple. Scanlines are always a big hit with me... along with rounded Mac-ish corners. If you're tired of blue, this will warm your desktop right up (although I will probably post a blue version soon enough).
Comments and suggestions are welcome, especially if you don't like it... let me know why. Also, the silly colorblind man didn't have someone look at this before uploading (again), so if it is crap-brown instead of warm orange, let me know

Do you have one without the KDE logo (just the scanlines). I have a calendar that I overlay over my wallpaper so I would like to do this with this background to. I might write a script which updates the date on the calendar every day and post that here. The only thing I don't know how to do is make KDE refresh the wallpaper.
This is top-notch work! I don't think I've downloaded this many backgrounds in one week before... lol
