I lose all ubuntu and other names because
I want the operating systems name. root of it all instead of packages running on them.

Black and grey background. I use moomex ultamatum theme with moomex border. And the vista panel running beryl..and neu fonts..been looking for black background with Linux wrote as well as it is on the background you posted.
Yeah no problem, I was going to get that done yesterday but I got cought up with work so I never got a chance to even fire up photoshop but I will defenitely have that up today, btw you want it with the slogan or without?

Yeah I noticed that alot of ones on here are targetted towards Ubuntu mostly. Btw, black you mean as in Black text or black/gray background?
A dark grey background would be awesome. Possibly with blue(ish) text? Something along those lines would be great. As it is, it's pretty cool.

I believe it should be (The) choice of a GNU generation I'm not particularly fond of that slogan anyway. Could we get a version without it?
