Nice work. I love the candle too and use "light painting" technique to gain effect.

It is one of my better candle compositions. I uploaded some others here, which are not so good in comparison.
And thank you for the links. Light Painting is something I have only just started venturing into.. it is interesting the results that can be achieved. When I do have something good, I will post them.
