I'm far from artistic but thought i'd share this wallpaper that somehow turned out like this! while playing around with photoshop (using Codeweavers Office on FC 5 - note to myself "you will find time to learn gimp"

Hey, man Great work, I liked it. I've got nothing against Photoshop, especially when it's running on Linux. However, if you know photoshop, learning the Gimp is a matter of finding where those same pieces are. The Gimp's nearly identical, except that things are in different places. It shouldn't take long to get used to it, so don't fret. I had no trouble picking up the gimp (although, I'm no professional).
Sure, I take your point. I have had a look at gimp & indeed it is alike but things are just in different places. Takes time I suppose - one day hey! :)
