Goes great with the standard Human Icon theme and with the Orangelook emerald theme for Beryl.
I also made a GDM theme and Splash that match the Wallpaper.
Again, thanks to Who and Aqua-Soft for the Ubuntu glossy logo and the intelmac background from which this wallpaper is based on.

Has anyone else mentioned the theme gives an "invalid file format" when attempting to install? The background is very nice with the Tango theme though!
The Mem/CPU info is a light-weight program called conky (google it). My .conkyrc is tuned to match the overall color scheme. You can also try "screenlets" which works with compiz/beryl.

You say the wallpaper is 1600x1200 but it's not :/
You've made better use of that logo than I ever did! I reckon if you too the SVG version and made the glosss on the text more like the one on the lopoo it'd look better - that text gloss was not my favourite :)
this is a very "feisty" wallpaper, and would be great as a default for the ubuntu 7.04. :)

I realy, realy love it :-) . Would it be possible to make that one in red,green and pink/purple? (typical girly request ;-) ....) I'm currently using this version+GDM and Splash... would be lovely to have those in other colors as well. Regards Lizzy
Alejandro, I just love this artwork! It is colorful but not too much. I wish to use a transparent terminal with this background, but the logotype and the text is too prominent. Is it possible for you to release another version with the logotype and text down in the lower left corner? There is no way I could do this myself with a satisfactory result :)
Yes. I will do that shortly. I am planning to release a whole package with: GDM, splash and wallpaper. I will also include variations on the theme: -One with the glossy Ubuntu logo only centered. -One with the ubuntu logo and letters on the bottom left. Keep tuned! ;)
