Blue Web Foot - Gnome
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
If you follow the link you will find versions of this Wallpaper in:
3200x1200 Dual Monitor
1600x1200
1280x1024
1024x768
I made this with the use of Fyre. I made the image translucent so that you might have a choice of color for the background. I think that it looks good with any color as a backdrop, with the right gimp filters you may even be able to change the foreground color.
If anyone likes this enough and wants to do a widescreen version, it would be welcome.
Thank you. Last changelog:
3200x1200 Dual Monitor
1600x1200
1280x1024
1024x768

Update:
I was able to upload the original .png's so you can now set these as your wallpaper and choose your own background color and/or gradient!
This is the way that I originally had planned to release these, so please if you have already downloaded it once, get it again. It's worth it
ENJOY!!

I did a little search to find this background because it is being used for someone else's GDM background. I too wanted a version without the foot..., so I made one from the original 3200x1200 version available for download. I also have a widescreen display, so I could manipulate it for that too. Thanks for releasing it as PNG so that all can be done easily. (For those of you who also want a footless version, just download the bluewebfoot3200x1200.png file and manipulate it to your heart's content in GIMP. My method was to create a new picture in GIMP at 1280x800 with a black background; then I opened bluewebfoot3200x1200.png pic and copied and pasted it onto my new file; then I just scaled it and moved it around until I had the new picture I wanted to save; in my case, the foot was left outside the edge of the picture so now it's gone. Enjoy.)
almost looks like my old bg with a black background and thinner whisps! i love it! and yea, you should probably make a gnome-less version :)
yeah, one for me too....
i like it a lot, but the gnome symbol is so big, and doesn't seem to fit well. Could you please release one without it, or at least shrink it a bit? Thanks!
Someone help me find a site where I can upload the actual png's. Googlepages wants to turn them into jpg's and I hate it, I want to get the transparent versions up here for download.
