Description: This is a gimp file. I just placed My favorite Wallpapers behind the .xcf file. I made it so that I can use the slide show option of the kde desktop and rearange each of the boos so that they look like theve been floating around the screen.
What about just making the boo as a super karamba theme?
Then I expect they actually will be able to move around.
disclaimer: I've never coded a superkaramba theme
Assuming it is anything like every other desktop widget "suite" available, yes, you could make them move around, change transparency to fade in and out given conditions or randomly. I would think it wouldn't be that hard to make them move around randomly, I have seen many little critters and things move around desktops in a few different widget programs.
i've been doing the same kinda thing lately. I call them gimp pads. I've been wanting to try something as adventerous as the ghost too and now i'm super encouraged to do so now.
fun!!

I tried to make a karamba theme for boo, but just ended up adapting an already existing theme. To see: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=36906
