Description: Well this background is inspired by another background I found on kde-look.org. I liked it a lot but just wanted it to be a little 'cleaner' so I took the SVG Gentoo 'G' to create this one. Hope you like it ...Last changelog:
The white glow is smaller but more intensive, the letters are refined.
Due to request: I've uploaded a transparent PNG without the background stripes. Search for 'Gentoo-G Transparent'.
I do like the flatter design, but I'm not a big fan of interlaced backgrounds. Would it be possible for you to just a transparent PNG with just the G and the tagline? It would also fit all resolutions. ;-)
