your window controllers are on the wrong side. minimize,maximize, and close should be on the left and this can be configured in your metacity theme file, else the user will have to modify in the gconf-editor. nice them though!
I like them on the right side. You can change if you like.
I don't see what this has to do with ethernet chipsets... I'm confused.
