I've come back to using this theme after a while of using others, and I've noticed something about it. It looks really good when the window background is set to #99B4CD - or any of the surrounding blueish colours. It also looks good with Elementary's black metacity theme
Btw, how did you managed to make panels transparent?
It's a small image i made. It's in the ZIP. :)
I like the glossiness and color combination. Nice work.
Thx. :)
Certainly a better result than the direct rips of the OS X theme. Some of those look like they were made out of screenshots, pasted into a GTK theme.
Thank you! :)
It looks really good.I like the color but i think the colors for buttons, menus and inputboxes are a little bit too bright. Also I find the Toolbaricons very big. I am using applecure for now,you can customize colors and it draws lines between items in nautilus sidepanel, which i find very pleasing instead of plane, and its toolbaricons are normalsized.Menus are gradientcolored sry for the bad english
Thx! :) Well, it's not a rip-off, just a look-a-like theme with the parts I like from the Leopard theme. If you dont like the size on the icons just edit the file "Leotard/gtk-2.0/gtkrc": gtk-icon-sizes = "panel-menu=18,18:panel=18,18:gtk-button=24,24:gtk-large-toolbar=32,32"
thank you!
hi, just wanted to say that i created a port of your metacity theme to xfwm4. great theme, i like it. (one of the better mac-ish themes i have seen.) anyways, on thing you might have noticed yourself already: in your metacity theme the close-button is 1px higher than the other two...
Thx! :) Oh, I missed that. I'll fix that right away!
if you like you can link to my xfwm4-theme (just to have it all in one place). anyways, one more thing i noticed in ff2: when i hover or click a link in the bookmarks-toolbar, there is a bright area around the button, that appears on the hover. you can see it in the screenshot you can get here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/2q82ty
Sure thing. Just give me a link to the theme. Im aware of that problem, I dont know how to fix atm though.
Another OSX theme?
Nope. It's a look-a-like, not a complete ripp of. I couldnt find a good looking look-a-like theme so I modified the one GTK theme thats really nice and made my own Metacity theme.
And btw, I thought the irony in the name would say a few things to: Leo(tard).
