Description: BlackBoard Gtk and Emerald theme. This is my very first trial at theming. I took RoberTo's Carbonit theme as a basis for the gtk theme. I'm almost happy with the Emerald theme although it still need a bit of work. For the Gtk theme, I'm still a little bit lost with the gtkrc file : if anyone know some kind of a tutorial, or a howto, or any type of explanations, it would be very helpful ! For now I'm just trying every line to change colors and others things, which is not the fastest way to get things done. So any help and comment would be welcomed with endless gratitude !
VERY FIRST RELEASE ! It's still in heavy work in progress. I still got many problems with the colors, texts, comboboxes... I release it to let you have a look, and make as many comment as necessary. Please, point out all the mistakes you can found, things that don't work, stuff you don't like... The package contain the emerald and GTK themes. You'll need the pixmap engine to get this to work. There are still things that don't work quite well.
Everything looks great. The only issue I've noticed are the drop-down list boxes. The text in these show black instead of white or gray. Other than that, it's great.
I would have mentioned more of a color selection but you already answered that question in a previous post. :-)
1st. Would it be possible to make it more flexible? (in terms of color choosing? The orange is ok, but I'd like to change it sometimes)
2nd. Your emerald theme is cool, would it be possible to port it to metacity?

For the first suggestion, since it's a pixmap engine based theme, I have to draw everything (like the orange menubar selection, the orange prelight buttons...). If you want me to do another color I must draw it. It can't be changed like that by changing a gtkrc value (at least I believe so).
For the metacity theme, I'll give it a try very soon.

me suis permis des modifications (corrections ) de couleur de police
si tu veux je te fait suivre le gtkrc
couleur des combobox,des treearrow et du lanceur (alt+f2 le deroulant trop clair)
si tu as un truc pour le panel et l'outils creer un lanceur je veux bien le conaitre
j'adore ton theme c'est ce que je cherchais a faire bravo
Merci beaucoup ! Je veux bien que tu me fasses suivre le gtkrc, moi je galère pour les couleurs de police. Je voudrais changer, améliorer encore des choses : je suis pas content des boutons Check-Option, de la progressbar et d'autres choses...
Pour le panel et créer un lanceur je vois pas ce que tu veux dire. En tout cas merci.
