they were, as I stated it looks more like the later win 3.1 apps that used CTL3D for their interface, I tried to make the windows white like the original but it looked fugly with clearlooks on toolbars and such so I just stuck with the grey which was achievable on Win 3.1 using a utility called ALL3D that I liked better anyway haha

How can I make it look like the preview picture?
this was missed after the release of the 3.11 metacity theme edit : I think that forms were white as the menu bars, buttons got the correct color
