In Xfce, the clock text is black...on a black background, no less. Can you fix that?
There is one thing I changed, I think in gtkrc file in line 168 it is better to set colour of progressbar to sth lighter, like #85FF8A
Wow! This theme works really well. I'm not sure if it's the engine it uses or what, but it runs much faster on my computer than any other one I've tried. I do have one concern though: I can't tell which workspace I'm on. The white edged box stays on the 1st workspace even when I move to another. I think it would be much better if it moved to represent the current workspace. Thanks!
can you please post that metacity theme? i love the vista basic, but ts just too thick. thanks

I'm not view the menubar background and panel buttons highlight... Buttons is flat... Murrina Aero 1.1/Gnome 2.14/Murrine Engine 0.52 P.S. Very cool theme! :)
You need to install gtk2-pixbuf engine cause some parts of this theme uses pixmaps instead of murrine widgets.
Very nice theme, noobie question: How do I get the blue icon on my gnome tabs: Applications, System, etc
If you guys want a wallpaper to go with this theme, I've found a good one: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/vista?content=54777 It's a remake, no license issues.
Firefox: add to userchrome.css menubutton, menulist, menuitem {color: #000000 !important;} menubar > menu {color: #ffffff !important;} menu[_moz-menuactive="true"][open="true"] {color: #000000 !important;} Wallpaper: Just an original OSX 10.4 Tiger wallpaper and 5 minutes in Gimp. As it's mostly Apple work i can't share it modified.

nice but has the same problem as all the other aero themes, openoffice and firefox black text on the menu bar, it would be perfect if you could fix this with a more lighter color menubar and menubar black text on all windows. thanks
Changing font color to white can be done in userChrome.css #navigator-toolbox .menubar-text { color: #ffffff } By the way, where can I get that wallpaper? It looks good :)
Best theme ever, i wanted a murrina theme like this since a long time.
Yeah, Its great Its better than vista for some reason I dont know
so, after using this for a while, i have a few complaints: -the menubar is just too dark. i like having the color there, but its over powering to my metacity theme (Art) -i really dont like the dark panel. i cant add my own background because the text is white. changes are good!
i like very much. its clean and easy. can you upload the modified metacity?
Uncompress this theme file to /usr/share/themes and download the engine package from here: http://download.ubuntu.pl/_Edgy_Eft/gtk2-engine/old/ (version 0.20 - theme looks best with it). To set a menu image just add to panel a main menu object, and then in gconf-editor go to /applications/panel/objects/object_0 (number at the end can be diffrent for you), check "use custom icon" option and in "custom icon path" enter your path to image. To set the panel go to panel properties, set it's size to 28, and as a background this attached image.
But how do I change the "start" button?
Nevermind, I read the rest, thank you!
I really like this one! How do I install it, can someone tell me in detail?
Also, can the progress bars be made to "spin" as with most other murrine themes?
For the scrollbar : edit the ~/.themes/MurrinaAero/gtk-2.0/gtkrc file with your favorit text editor, and modify the scrollbarstyle property : scrollbarstyle = 2 # 1 = circles, 3-4 = diagonal stripes, 5-6 = # horizontal stripes, 2-4-6 = draw small handles For the progress bar, set animation to TRUE.
I've seen murrine themes with scroll bars that have three lines in the middle, as vista does. A good example is Murrina Fancy Sea (Which I often use as an XP look-alike). http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/MurrinaFancyClearlooks+Themepack?content=48681 (See top screen shot) Can the scroll bars be made to be "a little less murrine, and a little more vista?"
