Thankx a lot for the theme
Nice upgrade :P, this theme is the best.
Very nice! How do I solve this problem? http://picasaweb.google.com.br/minotaurosp/Outros/photo#5190012301866548434
this is the best dark theme i have ever found. but i have a little problem with the menu from system>administration. all the menu open from here doesn't seems to be affected by the themes. anyone can help?? thanks
I found a way to make the font colors white in the OOo menubar. A problem with this way is that the font color of many other menus also changes to white. Anyway, here's what I found. Maybe someone will be able to make a definite fix with this. It seems that OOo uses fg[NORMAL] to color the fonts in the menubar and to color the fonts in the menu's that drop down from there. add the following to gtkrc of the theme style "light-fonts" { fg[NORMAL] = "#FFF" fg[PRELIGHT] = "#000" } widget_class "*.<GtkMenuItem>*" style "light-fonts"
Very nice, but try to make it more like this: http://tnij.org/razor2
Very nice theme. One of the best that i have com across... Greetings from Sydney Australia!
Very very nice theme!! One of the most beautiful i've seen. You should only fix that problem in the properties window of the launchers on the panel (eeer, sorry for my english) and i think the right place for userChrome.css is ~/.mozilla/firefox/xxxxxx.default/chrome/ (i think /etc/firefox is not a custom dir for firefox, at least i don't have it on gentoo) regards and congratulations!
This theme is beautiful, but unfortunately has bugs... First of all, I can't chose it after installation in manager. Next, userChrome.css doesn't work but I don't know why... If someone know how to fix this bugs, please add reply with instruction... P.S. Sorry for my bad English...
Hey! I have the same problem as FreakET! I can't install the theme..the theme manager says it was installed but it doesn't show up in the list. Any help?!
Hi! just wanna add thaat this theme is very nice indeed, but having some trouble on getting white text on toolbar in firefox 2.0.0.6. dont know if its Feisty or Firefox thats causing this. Kind regards MikeDK
just want to say that ive tryed the userChrome.css didnt work for me, or else i did something wrong Regards MikeDK
again problem with the panel the background of the widgets get white and the font of the taskbar items is too dark so it's impossible to read!
Open gtkrc file and uncomment lines: include "stylepanel.rc" gtk-menu-drop-shadow = 1 gtk-menu-shadow-delay = 0
Just wanna say that I love it! I've only had two problems so far -- both of them common to dark themes. The first is with the title bar in openoffice and the second is with the 'Create Launcher' window being treated as a panel. Otherwise, it's, ... well, every elegant. Thanks!
Hi i'm totally new to ubuntu and found this theme. i want to install it but have some problems with it. i downloaded the theme and decrompressed it. then i put everything in the .themes folder. but not as other themes this one doesn't appear in the theme selection dialog of ubuntu. how does i activate this theme? please help
After decompressing, compress the elegance folder and use the theme manager to install it.
i tried this. the theme manager said that elegance was successful installed but in doesn't appear in the the theme selection list. and so i dont know how to activate the theme.
In the theme manager choose "Customize...". At the first tab (controls) choose "Elegance" and at the third tab (window border) choose again "Elegance". Then save theme.
Can you please tell me where I can find that wallpaper in your screenshot? I love this theme!!!
Great theme! I've downloaded it and will use it. I just wonder, what icon-theme do you use? It looks good to the theme.
Sorry, just realized that you've already answered that question. Didn't see at once that there were more pages to view... :)
I have used this theme on not only this distro, but the one I ran before it, and on my mothers laptop. I absolutely love love love it! Thank you so much.
I love this theme, but I have a problem in the menu for shutting down the system. The text is black on black panel!
I love this theme!! BUT.... I am having the same problem as in Firefox with the File, Edit, etc text color being black. I was able to replace the userChrome.css file in Firefox, but cannot find how to fix OpenOffice??? Anyone else figure this out? Thanks!! - j
