Hello, I really like your theme but I noticed with dropdowns like in Firefox's Google Searchbar the bg color is blackish and the text color is black too, which makes it hard to read. How can I alter the text color to be white or alter the bg color to be white?
thank you
Great work, I've been having 1 problem.
I'm using ubuntu 9.04 with the Moomex Emerald theme, and moomex-ultimatum gtk theme. There are tooltip windows for the window decoration buttons of the active window and for buttons inside applications but none for the panel (for example to tell me what Rhythmbox is playing). When I use the moomex gtk theme said tool tip windows do appear. Changing the panel type doesn't effect this in any way.
Hey.
The theme is very nice, im using the 2nd panel. But now the windows of system notifications are very hard to read, because the font colors.
Best regards.
Yeah, I am having the same problem in Fedora 10. The weird thing is I don't have this bug in Ubuntu.
Anyway, I know where the bug is but I don't know how to fix it yet.
I figured out how to change the panel bar, but all I get is a blank looking bar instead of the old KDE style. This theme also cause the older moomex windows border to turn all white. I love the older windows border. Any way to fix this or maybe post one of the older packages that contain only the KDE bar?
Can you post more details on your problem or maybe a screenshot?
Anyway, to change to kde panel style type in terminal:
gedit $HOME/.themes/Moomex-Ultimatum/gtk-2.0/gtkrc
Replace "Panel/GtkRC/3" with "Panel/GtkRC/2"
This should work without any problems. I don't see a reason to post another package while the change is only one number
Here is a link to my Screen shot showing the problem with the KDE style panel. After looking through the theme package I noticed that the panel image is transparent. Could that be the problem?

I'm sorry, you're right. The theme was updated and should fix your problem.
P.S. the KDE Panel Style certainly needs improvements. I will work on that for the next release.
Firefox-3.0 Fix
Type in Terminal:
mv $HOME/.themes/Moomex-Ultimatum/*.css $HOME/.mozilla/firefox-3.0/*.default/chrome
doesn't work for me in ubuntu 8.10 intrepid ibex. OpenOffice fix too. Help me please. Nevertheless Moomex-Ultimatum is one of the best gnome theme.
hey does this theme work on xfce too? i put it in ~./themes and it shows up in xfce's theme settings, but when i select it only some parts of the theme seem to be applied. i've never used gnome, but i have gnome-control-center installed, and i can change moomex settings there, but it wont affect xfce in any way it seems (moomex theme will be displayed correctly in gnome-control-center + customize theme window etc).
can someone guide me to how i get my xfce look like screen number #2? i absolutely love it.
1- Download and install this theme.
2- Increase the panel size to 48 pixel.
3- Download and install this icon set

4 - Change the panel color via gnome-theme-manager

Where can I get the icons you are using in the first screen? The link at http://moomex.110mb.com/Moomex-Icons.tar.gz is not working. Thanks

Type in Terminal: gedit $HOME/.themes/Moomex-Ultimatum/gtk-2.0/gtkrc Comment or remove this line: gtk-tooltip-timeout = 9000
Thanks, I'd thought I'd seen something called that while looking around in the files. Do I ever feel like a newb, lol.

Excellent!
Finally, I have found a decent dark theme. Good job and thank you. =]

I like it, but I preferred the KDE style panel. I tried you instructions to get it but you left out the file to be opened in the gedit command.
Thanks a lot for this theme, surely one of the best themes i ever seen... Love it. Thanks for all your hard work ;)
This is a fantastic theme. My thanks for your hard work here. A marvellous look for my Ubuntu, and one I'll keep around long term. Brilliant.
What's new into it today ?? Cygoku
Reduced Metacity or titlebar hieght. Improved Scrolbar so it can adopt the color scheme. Some changes are mentioned in the description.
