I just added a background in the window area, so, the theme looks more complete and I also modified the X-C Blacklight emerald theme.
As a result, this is my modified version

Thanks to the real artists who made these fantastic themes.

I'm really like this theme, but the appearance of Mines looks strange. It's seems that the blocks just have purely white colors, which looks bad. I try to edit the theme, but don't know where to edit, maybe the "nostyle"?
This is just the most complete and wonderfull theme I've seen so far! Really beautifull! I'm not very good at creating themes myself yet, so I would like a small mod of this one. :-) Would you like to try? I really like the buttons on the metacity version and I would love to have them on the emerald border aswell. :-) And I don't like the menu button. Other than that the transparent border is just perfect! I love windows 7 and it's look, but this is just so much better!
what font do you use in the screenshot?
Love the theme.. However when i use vlc or smplayer (jaunty) I end up getting a right click menu(on the player) that's not easy to read.
the circular things on the desktop telling the ram and what not conky? the wallpaper? i want circles too.
Eclipse doesn't start when theme is enabled. You need modify gtkrc file first, remove or hash this line: class "GtkWindow" style "MeepWindow" Unfortunately window background will be disabled :(. Are there any other solution?
When synaptic is downloading updates the downloadwindow appears in a quite ugly look... with the original slickness there is no problem any idea? JoAz
not just the download window... complete snyptic looks strange....
try to move your theme to /usr/share/theme: sudo mv ~/.themes/NewSlicknesS /usr/share/themes
works now... thanks!
Very nice background! But i don't get the window borders as you have it in your screenshot :-(
you need to install emerald first: sudo apt-get install emerald theme is in the package.
..it's look very nice. Please, can you tell me, what is the Name of the Wallpaper, or where can i get it. I mean, it looks very good too. Pleas help me, i have looked for this one, but i can't found this. Many thanks for your help!
Great work but there is a little thing to correct. The index.theme have wront entrys. http://tapsiturtle.net/old/pictures/bla/indextheme.png When it looks like this, i can copy the theme folder to /usr/share/theme and choose it in the Appearance without warnings or errors.
Nice theme. But a little bit too black to fit me tho.
since the first author doesn't develope this theme anymore, can you fix some bugs of this theme. There is a bug that annoy me so much: the tool bar appears very ugly in some application. Please see the screenshots for more details. http://jasonvoorheeszzz.googlepages.com/Screenshot.jpg http://jasonvoorheeszzz.googlepages.com/Screenshot.png i like this theme very much. Please make it more complete
where did you get the natilus pattern ?
Nice theme but what icon theme you are using?
It's called "hydroxygen".. this icon theme is great 'cos you can change some icon colors and styles with an included script..
I was curious what font your using in that screenshot?
it is called "Zekton" you can find it in this website.
I truly like this theme, i do however not one bit like the scrollbar which is a shame as it stops me from using it. It feels out of place :( None the less, well done
Thanks man, anyway you can always modify the themes... the scrollbar is nothing more like png images.. ;)
I did it :) but look at my panel color , it is not like yours , how I can do it same . ^_* http://up.arabseyes.com/upfiles/4Gz98679.jpg
Try going to the panel properties (right click on the panel and properties) and in the "background" tab select none "(use system theme)" that must solve your problem.
