Hello, I was wondering if the the murrina midnight that you were planning to do is still ongoing ? Thanks for your work :)
Hi, it's still on my todo list. I'm quite busy these days, I'm not so sure about the release date. Sorry for the long delay.
How do you achieve this coloured button focus ? The default Murrine engine button focus is a dark line underlining the text inside a button, and it's ugly, but your coloured focus is cool. Can you enlight me please ?
Hi, the line is removed by setting: GtkWidget::focus-line-width to 0.
Thanks alot for that. One more thing: how do you define the colour of the focus ? I know it's related to selected_fg_color but isn't there a way to set it independently ?
For example: focus_color = @bg_color and the it can use "#xxxxxx" as well.
here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6839585#post6839585 the gtkrc am i missing somethin in the murrine engine?
NEVERMIND!!!
I suggest that you do diff between the one you modified and mine. I think it might be format related issue.
where do i open the file to do the customizations u suggested?
You mean the gtkrc? It should be located in ~/.themes/MurrinaCrystal*/gtk-2.0/gtkrc.
THANKS! I followed those instructions, but i could not make it look like your third image, and it still looks greyish, while other things changed. is my murrine engine not working fully?
I'm not sure unless you show me a screenshot. The third one is a theme called MurrinaCrystalGlossyToolbar, you don't have to change your gtkrc.
http://img49.imageshack.us/img49/9528/screenshote.png im using murina glossy toolbar, but it doesnt seem as white as urs
murrina crystal glossy toolbar i mean
Weird, it works here. Would you paste your gtkrc somewhere?
i know its nearly perfect, but will there be any update in the next time?
Sure, it will be updated with the latest svn. That's why I don't call it FINAL:)
hardy1 intrepid1 jaunty1 ? what meaning? how i select?
看你的ubuntu版本。
I love it! But that latest Murrina engine only i386 version, not for amd64?
http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php/Shiki-Colors?content=86717 The author is kind enough to provide with both architectures.
Please post your human-theme here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Artwork/Incoming/Jaunty the ubuntu-artwork-team would be very stupid if they dont use your human-theme for the coming ubuntu jaunty jackalope. for the artwork-deadline is still one week and your theme seems to have no bugs at all. please post it! a lot of ubuntu-users would be happy to see such a modern theme as the ubuntu-default!
ah almost forgot: if you give me your email, i could make some nice desktop-screenshots you could post on the ubuntu-artwork-site i showed you.
