I use Alphacube Metacity, GDM buit not the GTK theme, do you know why ? There is a problem in Alphacube GTK: the theme doesn't apply everywhere it should. Here is a screenshot to explain:

And I think you should also use blue instead of black for text selection
I love the theme.
But do you have any idea why on one Ubuntu system I get that nice kind of shaded and polished panel, while on my other Ubuntu system I get a plain white/grey bar even though I have the same theme throughout the control center, and the same panel (none (use system theme)) properties.
Any one have any ideas?
Thanks, Keep up the good work!

It's because you've installed them into the "~/.themes" folder. In order to correct this you must install any GTK theme into the global theme folder. Just extract the archive contents to the "/usr/share/themes" directory.
This is because, in Ubuntu, when you run any administrative tool, you are running it through "gksudo", so you are virtually root. However, the GTK theme is locatted into your "~/.themes", not in "/root/.themes". As GTK can't find the selected theme, it falls to the (ugly) default theme.
Woo hoo !! Very good job, nice and clean !!
I don't wich distro you're using, but the theme doesn't apply in the Gnome Control Center, under Mandriva distro.
I don't know how you can resolve this if you're not using mandriva, but it would be even nicer if could.
Keep up the good theming !!!!
I really like this theme suite. Is it possible to make a darker version of this? Maybe with grey-bluish panel colors. The thing with most white colored theme is that elements in a window seem to mesh together. Same thing with overlapping windows, it's harder to spot the window borders. There needs to be more contrast so that the user can easily make out window borders.. Either a dark windows face with light borders, or the other way around. Perhaps the dark version the gnome bar and window borders shouldn't use shiny surfaces, but textured surfaces. Just some ideas.
Anyway I like really like this clean and simple design. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for the suggestion and for the compliments...!
for "dark" version, I am already working, I would like a version of my theme inspired for my linux distribution, Gentoo.
Thanks for this one and the other alphacube themes, they fit all very nicely.
One thing I wonder, where did you find these icons for the gnome panel (like the green squared firefox icons) ?
Cheers.

With Neu! icons, Alphacube is the best theme that I used in all my life!!
Great theme ! Too bad the menu rendering is bugged when using Evolution or Synaptic.
It is the best one of the themes of the Gnome! But it would be better with other colors. The Blued Alphacube, for example, is excellent!
very nice... a great design to...
Awesome work, man!! However, it'd be a bit nicer if had a darker sheme, like graphite, at least. Is it difficult to do it?

Nothing critical but, I notice two little lines that will not go away while using notification on the panel. * included screenshot. http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/7731/screenshot24lw.png thanks

I've done a little mistake: it is under "Drakconf" that the theme doesn't apply, not "Gnome control center" :)
I use gentoo linux, but to use this theme, you need lauch "gnome-theme-manager" from terminal and then import gz file.
