Description: I think the video strip down the left of video thumbnails in KDE is hideous, and so here is how to get rid of it:
1. Replace the files in [kde]/share/apps/videothumbnail/ with these (for instance, on Mdk it's /usr/share/apps/videothumbnail.. may also be /usr/local/share/apps/videothumbnail or something completely different - ymmv. Note: just deleting the originals doesn't seem to work.
2. Delete the contents of ~/.thumbnails in order to force an update of all your video thumbnails.
3. ???
4. Profit!!!
My desktop -
Windec: Whid preview KDE style: Plastik GTK style: GTK-QT Theme Engine KDE icons: nuvola GTK icons: Nuvola SVG Firefox icons: Nuvola (via my Small Nuvola for Firefox) Font: Bitstream Vera Sans Panel applet: Kicker Pager
Icon size: 22px, settings: show menu bar (to hide), right click each toolbar and select icons only, drag and drop to put them next to each other, and settings:configure toolbars to get rid of the buttons you don't want.
But how do you get Konqueror to remember not to show the menubar? I can only think of saving the view profile, but then you can't do that without the menubar present!
Ah, actually, ignore me, I worked it out.
Assign a keyboard shortcut to "save view profile filemanagement", remove the menubar, and use the keyboard shortcut to save it :)

Another question.. does anyone know which SuSE package to install? I don't even have a videothumbnails folder on my computer?
Get this in KDE!! :-) Looks awsome.
Well - tell me how did you get konqueror look that thin?

Nice work, but to be honest I must say your konqueror toolbars were what I liked the most. Pretty cool.
Opss it's firefox
Which icon set are you using? Is it listed on kde-look?
Oh never mind - just read your conmments. Sorry.
This was really nice, post this as a wish at bugs.kde.org
I don't know why you censored your user log-in name, but you missed a spot. You might want to check the title bar on the Konqueror window.
Yes, I know - his name is st!!! Now I can blackmail him :))))))
DAMMIT! My uber-secret is out! Er.... I mean, I don't know what you're talking about.. look again, it clearly says Mickey Mouse ;)
