Nice but the top left corner should not interfere with the column of desktop icons.
I like the wallpaper. But I don't really agree with the idea of creating a native desktop look for Linux with guidelines and other stuff. I prefer freedom, and this is why I use Linux and not Windows.
It's not about increasing anyones freedom, it about making freedom a better choice as I see it.
