Windowsdeco: KDE 1 by KDE Bar & Button style: Light Style,3 by KDE
* After downloading the .gz file, extract all files in the directory you want, then "right click" on .kth file and "install KDE Style".
In order to obtain the effect for the icons that you see in the preview, take a look at the second and third preview. You have to set the same color for all category of icons, standard mode (light olive green, half transparency) + active mode (dark olive green, also half transparency). You can also change the textcolor of the desktopicons and replace it with an dark olive green. You can just "pick" the color with the mouse from the desktop background, after you turn on the theme with KDE control center.
I don't care about this, really. I have problems with high contrast enviroments, better way, i have problems with more than 2 or 3 colors on the desktop. That's what i like black/white designs too. I compute most in the night, with not to much light around, and olive is one of my favorite colours, i like gray too, or pastel brown, so you with your cafe machiato. I like your theme. I will try it.
Keep having fun on KDE :-) Ciao
Yeah, that's right. I also tried setups like yours. While in dark rooms it was pleasant it's not in bright offices, where I am sitting most of the time :-(
And then I am also not the one who likes a colorful desktop.
BTW: Thank you. Hope you like it.

Reminds me of the cored enlightenment theme by Tokyo. Looks nice, but can you work long enough with such a low contrast environment?

I like this style. It's unique, and it is kind of reminiscent of old phosphor screens. Good job!
Thanks a lot. Yes, it's an pretty old style. The better things are most very simple! :-) daniel
