- a Dekorator Theme

- a KBFX Theme

- a Superkaramba Theme ( modifications of the "Furius Karamba Suite" and "RSSNews", available here :

http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/RSSNews+-+An+RSS+Feed+Reader?content=51521

and here :

http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Furius+Karamba+Suite+?content=64986

- a Domino Configuration

- a Color Scheme

- a Wallpaper ( available in different resolutions )

- Some Desktop Icons

- Some Systray Icons

Stay Tuned !

- Wallpapers ( 1024x768 1152x864 1280x800 1280x1024 1440x1050 1600x1200 )

- KDM Themes ( 1024x768 1280x800 1280x1024 1440x1050 1600x1200 )

Would it be possible to make the window background (behind edited text) white in programs like Kwrite and stuff? The text is hard to read when I edit some scripts and have the syntax highlighting turned on. This is the only bad thing on this great theme.

For kwrite you can set the colors of the font, background, selection in the preferences. I can make a special color scheme for it, maybe tomorrow ;) There is another problem with the desktop tooltips : They are black on black because the desktop use black font in tooltips were it should normally be grey as in the window tooltips. You can modify the color of the tooltip in Kcontrol > Appearance & Themes > Style > Domino and press configure. First tab change the tooltip color to something much more clearer. Tell me if you have other problems ;)

Wouldn't it be better if you used QtCurve instead of Domino to have a consistent desktop? QtCurve is for KDE3, KDE4 and GTK2 (GTK1, too, but it's deprecated). The gtk-qt-engine doesn't do very well.

thibaut28

Well I sure can try, but will it let me create the same kind of double gradients as in domino ?

andrew9888

I'm afraid, that QtCurve is not able to do the double gradients but it offers glass effect. So if the only aim is to look glossy it could be OK. But if it is not what you want, use Domino. Anyway I'm really looking forward to this theme. Keep up the good work :-).

Well I tried Qtcurve, this is really good if you want to imitate the murrine look, candido and mostly gtk but I didn't succeed to make it look like it does with domino. This is also way faster than domino :) So I think I'll stick to domino. I plan to release it on monday. Initially there will be full support for 1024x768, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 resolutions as I didn't finished moodin themes for other resolutions. However, KDM themes for 1280x800 and 1400x1050 should be available in addition to the others. Wallpapers will be fully available to all resolutions too :) I guess all the rest should be (domino config, karamba, dekorator, kbfx, color scheme, systray icons). I need to rework the desktop icons so except the folder one, I surely won't upload them on Monday. Many thanks you for your support ;)
