Actions
Compare each other: select 2 or 3 files or directories to compare
Select for compare: Save one or more file/directory paths for compare
Compare: Compare selected element with previously saved paths
INSTALLATION
place dolphin_meld_servicemenu.desktop file in ~/.local/share/kservices5/
For a system-wide installation place the file in /usr/share/kservices5/
Logout and login or execute in a console
kbuildsycoca5
NOTE
These installation paths are valid for Kubuntu 18.04.
For the full list of installation paths for your system execute in a console
kde4-config --path services
and check your output

does not work for me what can i do
Do you still maintain this menu? I really like it, but "compare" (3rd option) does not work for files containing spaces.
Hi I reinstalled Kde (Kubuntu 18.04) last week after long time with Gnome. During my workstation configuration i will try to update the service menu for current dolphin version (17.12.3). I saw that you added a version with a German translation on github. I'll merge with that version. tnx Pls no ETAs.
Alright. Although there is not much to update, works fine with current dolphin/kde versions. I've already fixed the problem with filenames containing spaces.

How to instal this in linux mint 17.3?
I'm not on linux mint now. Maybe you have to find the correct installation directory on kde4. run kde4-config --path services in a console and check the output path list
/home/MyName/.kde/share/kde4/services/ /usr/share/kde4/services/ but no result for mint 17.3 :(
