Already started working on version 2.0, so if you have any ideas let me know. Depending on how popular this one is I will release it.
Any suggestions or comments welcome. If you would like the slightly modified version of liquid weather and the gentoo icons that I have modified to fit with the UberMon them, let me know. Email address is above.
Enjoy!

Sorry I havn't been maintaining this Karamba and replying to your comments, I was working on quite a few things for v2.0 but lost my entire 250GB HD and got annoyed with it
If any of you still need the dark wallpaper, you can get it from my server here:

As mentioned previously, this is a work from Shadowness, all I did was play with the colour balancing to fit my desktop theme (which by the way is the KDE Iron theme if any of you need it).
If any of you want to make any changes to this project and fork it, please feel free, I really don't have the time lately to do anything with it.
I may pick it back up sometime and implement the changes you guys have been suggesting, I especially agree with klepto about the display buttons being kinda choppy, I created those last and was getting tired at the time, so rushed them a little, that would be the first thing I would focus on if I release v2.0
Anyway, I thank you all for your kind words about the theme, if you need anything, give me a mail.
All the best.
Life.

I really like the plugin, but I modified it, so that it fits to my needs. It now uses the amarok output: http://img182.imageshack.us/img182/5210/ubermonsr8.png
Nothing to do with the script itself (wich is great), but where can I get this wallpaper? :P
Hey everyone, just thought I'd share the info and put the links in here: Further developped versions can be found at: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=22700 http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=22826 I changed the stuff around a bit to my needs, that can be found here: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=34628 Thanks again to the author!
Hah, it's right freaking there! I'm so stupid I love it though!
the dark EEVO wallpaper, that is
deviantart.com/view/668254 doesn't exist anymore... is there another place I could find it? Or the new place for it?
How can I get a transparent background? I found http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/wdnut/excerpt/color_names.html but I don't know how to get the transparent... thnxs!
I would like to be able to switch to amarok instead of xmms.. is this easily possible?
i have xmmsctrl installed and i can't controll xmms from the theme, any suggestions? ps: the theme is cool, thx:)

is there any support for the wireless ?? and where did u get the info about the weather ??
Where can I download ShoreLog "Log Monitor" ?
Hi! how can i make such a buttons (icons)? 'coz i like them very much and i'd like to make few for myself. Could you give some tips?
where can i get that background
How can i change the font color to white? And if i can what are the values? Thanks
lovin it...but have a couple of questions. in the hard drive monitor section the only thing that is working is the root mon. i have tried changing the mountpoints for the home dir with no sucess how should i change these settings to mon my home dir? also could this section be used to mon my usb stick drive when its connected, it shows up as /sda1 and mounted under media usb-blablabla
oh and the post about the IP setting works!!!!
found the solution from a post for another theme that had a clock.....just tack ap or AP behind the hh:mm:ss. ap=small am/pm AP=large AM/PM. also you will want to take off one of the h in hh unless you want your time to look like this 06:00am/pm vs. 6:00am/pm
Looking very nice; only thing I had a problem with was the IP Address. Looking in the script I see you've linked to a program in /home/life.. Anyhow, if you replace that with something like: sensor=program program="/sbin/ip addr show eth0 | grep 'inet ' | cut -d t -f2 | cut -d / -f1 | cut -b 2-"
This line works if you are using pppoe. sensor=program program="/sbin/ip addr show ppp0 | grep 'inet' | cut -d t -f2 | cut -d / -f1 | cut -b 2- | cut -b -14" I cut the peer ip info. Now if I could just figure out how to get the xmms portion of ubermon working correctly. Any hints anyone?
FUCKING AWSOME
XMMS control buttons don't work for me. I think it's possible that I'm missing some sort of module. The Titke and play time work just fine. Also for my harddrive I get /4257 MB but for /home /hda1 /hda2 I get 0 mb. Suggestions? This is a great theme and I think it'd be perfect if you added wireless strength bar to it.
Oh , one other thing I just noticed, if you could get the title for XMMS to scroll when it's long, that'd be awesome too.
Yes, this is one great karamba theme! One comment, though: If one wants to see his IP address shown in the according line, he has to change the path to the file "ipadd.pl" to the correct location (i.e. in the folder where it is to be found on the users machine) in "ubermon.theme". At least, now you get the message "Not found" - just like me... ;)
I dont know if its just me, but the display buttons are kind of choppy. Not a very clean cut if you will. But overall, a very nice theme.
